I recently wrote an article about eye catchy changes you can make to a home and one of the highlights to that article was designing your own feature wall. It’s a fairly simple but crafty way of adding some color and personality to your room without removing or adding anything that takes up space. In this case, a geometric painted feature wall that fades out and blends into a neutral color is a wonderful living room decor idea.

I think the modern age could do with a thing or two from the good old mid-century when everything just gave off a rustic and earthy vibe, for some (explicable but I’m too lazy to search) reason. What I particularly like about this DIY is that the top slides off so you can store magazines or coasters inside. Pretty and practical, it’s perfect!
