Nothing beats putting a bright smile on a kids face simply by amazing them with a few easy tricks. Kids love when fun, colorful, and messy things are involved, and what better way to make sure a kid never says the words, “I’m bored” again than a few awesome and exciting science experiments!
Thanks to the glorious internet, many tutorials are wow-worthy which will make you thank your lucky stars for finding them! Back when we were kids we didn’t have the internet (dark times) to introduce us to the clever tricks that other people came up with but luckily for our kids, they’re open to many wonderful ideas.
That’s why I decided to curate the best ways for kids to have loads of fun with the following science experiments with the majority of the stuff that can be found in the house.

1. Cloud Science Project

How cute is this? An easy yet educational project that deals with how rain occurs. To recreate this project you will need, shaving cream, blue food coloring, a glass vase, and a dropper.
In four easy steps, you’ll have the kids amazed in like 4 seconds or so. One of the most entertaining science experiments on my list!
2. Magnetic Slime

I used to love playing with slime when I was a kid. It was strange, fascinating, and just so much fun.
Thanks to Sarah, she shows us step by step how to make our very own slime that boys (and girls) will love. Heck, you can even blow balloons with them. Amazing!
3. Goop And Flower Cupcakes

Little girls love pretending to cook and they need to spend time outside.
A fun project while playing outside is this goop and flower cupcakes which entail mixing glue and flowers from the garden. They will totally love this one. Especially during summer!
4. Giant Bubbles

Bubbles are awesome! Forget those small bubbles by making these awesome homemade giant bubbles by mixing water, dishwashing liquid, cornstarch, baking powder, and glycerin.

This project consists of food coloring, salt, and ice. The kids will love how colorful this block of ice will become as well as how it highlights the crevasses as the salt melts the ice.

6. Crystals Geodes

Add a little alum powder, glue, and eggshells, and watch the magic happen. Not only will your kids fall in love with this pretty DIY craft, but adults will love adding this to their home decor.
It can be quite a process since you have to prepare the stuff a day before but I promise it’s worth the effort.

7. Sparkly Explosion
Kids are suckers for anything that explores (like the kid in me!) since they’re exciting and thrilling!
Easily achieve this sparkly explosion by using baking soda, vinegar, food coloring, glitter, and one or more things.

8. Magic Bag
I think we all know that if there is a hole in a bag, water will leak through it. Now I’m sure you must be very curious after seeing the above picture. Yup, that is no illusion.
