The kitchen is one place we use almost every day and it can get quite messy if you don’t know what you’re doing. Back in the day when we had a fridge that was not frost-free, it was a real horror for my mom, especially when she had to clean all that ice out!

Thank goodness for defrosting fridges, we’ll never have to face that problem again! But there are other problems such as a disorganized and messy fridge that drive us crazy! Am I right?

On the brighter side of things, it’s fantastic when you find kitchen hacks that can save you so much time and effort like the following hacks below. If you’re looking for easy and cheap ways to organize your fridge and freezer, this post will be perfect for you.

Organize your food by either using containers like this really great one or vacuum seal the bags which will help you see better where things are.

You can even label everything since that will make things much better.

There are tons of pretty printable labels on Pinterest to suit anyone’s tastes although Money Savings Moms came out with a printable label that beats all of them.

It’s a label that breaks down the entire recipe for that certain package. It will become valuable for older kids if they’re into cooking when mom isn’t around.

If you haven’t gotten your hands on a vacuum sealer, you might want to think about investing in one. Not only does it keep food fresher for much longer but as you can see above, it’s fantastic for making sure everything is organized well!
