Since indoor gardening has become the newest and hottest trend, there’s tons of diy crafts that show you how to turn an egg tray or cans into a pretty herb garden, however there aren’t many tutorials to show you how to make good looking plant markers. Thanks to Mein Feenstaub, we can learn to use wooden disks and turn them into gorgeous plant markers. The best thing about this tutorial, it hardly takes up much time! So, if you’re the kind of person who is usually on the go but is in the mood for a little do it yourself project, this one is perfect for you too.
For this tutorial, you will need wooden disks, kebab sticks, black felt pen and electric tacker/stapler.
The first step is to draw vegetable shapes (tomato, carrot, cucumbers, etc) onto the wooden disk with a pencil first and then line it with a black felt pen.
After you complete your cute drawings, turn the disk over and staple the kebab stick to the wooden disk. If you don’t have a stapler on hand, hot glue may do the trick.
And that’s all there is to it.
It’s so awesome how quick and easy it is to make these cute plant markers. I think if you want it to be extra special, before drawing your vegetables, take some gold or silver spray paint and spray the wooden disk and kebab sticks for that shiny effect!
